WELDING - SOLD OUT!

Welding Merit Badge will be led by subject matter experts at the New England Institute of Technology. Earning the Welding Merit Badge involves learning about safety procedures, different welding techniques, and putting those skills into practice. It offers participants the opportunity to develop a valuable and practical skill that can be useful in various industries.

HEALTHCARE PROFFESSIONS 

Health care Professions Merit Badge will be led by subject matter experts at the New England Institute of Technology. The Health Care Professions merit badge requirements help youth explore the different types of healthcare fields. They will learn how professionals in these fields work together to keep people healthy.

AUTOMOTIVE MAINTAINENCE 

Automotive Maintenace Merit Badge will be led by subject matter experts at the New England Institute of Technology. By completing the requirements for the Automotive Maintenance merit badge, Scouts learn to maintain automobiles. Scouts specifically learn about the tires, engine, cooling system, fuel system, ignition, electrical systems, drive train, brakes, and dashboard. They also learn to read the various gauges and meters. Scouts will explore career opportunities related to maintaining cars.

GAME DESIGN 

 Game Design Merit Badge will be led by subject matter experts at the New England Institute of Technology. The Game Design merit badge is an opportunity for scouts to learn about the principles of game design, including brainstorming ideas, prototyping, testing, and balancing gameplay mechanics. By completing the requirements for this badge, scouts can develop skills in problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork, as well as gain a deeper appreciation for the art of game design.
