Phil Thow

Phil Thow is an ASM with Troop 77, Middletown and on Round Table Staff. He has been a mentor on two First Lego League (FLL) robotics teams for the last several years, has been a voluntary at the RI FLL competition and has taught Lego Mindstorm projects. Mr. Thow is a software engineer for the US Navy.

Ray Frandsen

Ray Frandsen is a Software engineer with 25+ years experience. He is currently with Tuition Management Systems. As the First Lego League Mentor, Mr. Frandsen knows the three laws of robotics by heart.

Basile Panoutsopoulos

Mr. Panoutsopoulos is a third year advisor with FLL and first year advisor with VEX. Worked for NUWC, Newport for eighteen years as an Electronics Engineer. Currently, he is a full time faculty with Central Connecticut State University. He is following his two sons advancing through Scouting.

Gary Gabriel

Gary Gabriel is a retired NUWC engineer.  He has also been a FIRST Robotics since the program first started.  He is also very involved in a local Boy Scout troop, and last year taught Robotics Merit Badge to scouts in his troop.
