RI Canine Search & Rescue, RI Task Force 2. Jen Anderson is a Wilderness, Cadaver and Light Disaster Instructor for IPWDA and RICSAR. She has trained and deployed with three working canine partners and currently works two canines - Asa and Ryder. She has 30 years of experience in SAR, K-9 training and first response and has deployed on searches in NE & disasters including Katrina, Nemo, RI 2010 Floods, etc. She is also a member of Veterinary Tactical Group. |
Prereq:
Read the Merit Badge Book and Print the workbook and use it to make notes for discussion. Be prepared to discuss the role of a SAR Responder. A working K9 will join us in class.
