Jim Magyar Dr. James Magyar is Professor of Chemistry at Rhode Island College in Providence.  He has a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire and a PhD from Northwestern University in Illinois.  His research interests include physical organic chemistry, photochemistry and environmental chemistry.  A former Scoutmaster. he is the COR for Troop 76 Providence.
Elaine Magyar Dr. Elaine Magyar is Professor of Chemistry in the Physical Sciences Department at Rhode Island College.  She holds a bachelor’s degree from Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, Massachusetts, and a PhD from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois.  Her research interests include nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, organic chemistry, and applications of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. She is on the troop committee of Troop 76 Providence.
