John Potvin John Potvin is a veteran of the East Providence Fire Department with 21 years of service. Captain Potvin currently serves as the Director of Emergency Medical Services for the city. John is also the Chairman of the Rhode Island Ambulance Service Advisory Board. John is also employed by the New England Institute of Technology where he is adjunct faculty in the Paramedic Technology Program. John is also an Eagle Scout and is the Scoutmaster of Troop 11 Coventry, RI.
