Donations to the Narragansett Council's Wish List cover the cost of specific program items that we budget for each year. These items help support Scouting programs, youth and volunteers throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut Counties. These gifts are 100% tax deductible.
To donate a Wish List item, simply click "Donate" anywhere on this page, complete the form, and pay securely online using your credit card. You can even make a donation in honor or memory of someone.
You also have the option of making a donation of any amount toward these items; click "Donate" and scroll down past the items to "Consider adding a donation" and indicate the amount you'd like to contribute.
If you'd prefer to pay by check, please make payable to Narragansett Council and mail to 223 Scituate Avenue Cranston, RI. Please make sure to put the item you'd like to purchase in the memo line. Also make sure your address is on the check or envelope.
Supports new 12x16 pressure treated wooden platform to replace aging platforms throughout camp.
TENT REPAIR
Supports professional repair of canvas summer tents including patching holes and cuts also replacing missing grommets and ties.
STAFF ADIRONDAK HOUSING
Supports new 12x16 Adirondak style shelters to replace canvas tents.
PADDLE BOARDS W/PADDLE
Supports two new Stand-up paddle boards and paddles for each waterfront at camp
KAYAKS W/PADDLE
Supports replacing 6 aging kayaks with new Old Town Brand kayaks and paddles.
BATHROOMS
Supports new campsite bathroom, replacing old latrine style. 6-8 individual stalls to safely and comfortably for Scouts and leaders.
12 PASSENGER VAN
Supports the purchase of a 12-passenger van to safely transport Scouts to offsite programs such as Golf, Aviation and Ice-Skating MB. The van is also used to transport Scouts to airports, train stations, and ferry.
AERATOR
Supports the purchase of a areator to help minimize pond closures due to high bacteria levels.
GOLF CART
Supports the purchase of a golf cart to help Scouts and leaders with limited mobility access all areas of camp.
10 PERSON PADDLEBOARD
Supports the purchase of the Mothership paddleboard, a very popular Troop activity. 3 additional boards ensure all Scouts have an opportunity to participate.
A WEEK OF COFFEE @ FACTOR'S CLUB
Purchases one week of coffee for adult volunteer leaders at Yawgoog.
PROGRAM SUPPLIES
Supports program supplies such as life jackets, crafts. rope and canoe paddles helping bring the camp experience to thousands of campers each year.
CAMP CHAMPLIN
NEW ROOFS ON CABINS
Supports replacing aging roofs on Talala and Kiwe cabins at Camp Champlin.
PROGRAM SUPPLIES
Supports program supplies such as life jackets, crafts. rope and canoe paddles helping bring the camp experience to thousands of campers each year.
WATER BOTTLE FILLING STATION
Supports helping keep campers hydrated with a refrigerated and filtered bottle filling station.
TEAM BUILDING COURSE IMPROVEMENTS
Supports replacing the climbing wall at Champlin with a newer wall in a safer location. The wall will be used to teach teamwork and leadership skills to thousands of campers each summer.
CABIN ARCHITECTURAL ANALYSIS
Architectural analysis of cabins to make upgrades that meet Scouting America camping standards while improving capacity and accessibility.
MATTRESS
Supports the purchase of new mattresses for each cabin at Camp Champlin.
PROFESSIONAL REPAIR ON POOL FIELD
Allows us to remove rocks, grade and improve grass.
DECK REPAIR ON POOL
Supports the purchase of supplies to repair the deck at the pool at Camp Champlin.

Supports the replacement of aging picnic tables in tent sites, shelter and around cabins.

Support the Hamilton Lodge improvements; new kitchen appliances; cabinets, flooring and walls. Hot water heater, bathroom upgrades, new doors; floor repairs.
TUCKER SHELTER ROOF REPLACEMENT (AQUAPAUG)
Support to replace the aging roof of Tucker shelter with new asphalt shingles.
